Taylor was invited to the Ellison High School JR ROTC Ball by Jakob Crothers, a boy from Church. They dance together at the Stake dances. Before I tell the rest of the story, I must inform you that Taylor HATES to shop. So, here I am shopping for a dress for myself and she finds a dress that she likes for the dance. Guess who came home with the new dress? I knew if I didn't get it, we may not be able to find one that she liked, or was so easy to find, again. However, the dress was not modest enough to wear alone. So, I suggested that I make a little jacket to wear with it. That meant another shopping excursion, but this time to Hobby Lobby, which she detests even more than shopping. Then, she needed shoes. So, last week, the only night we had available to shop due to her busy schedule, we spend 1 hour in Shoe Carnival in which she must have tried on 10 different pairs of shoes. She had a pair in her hand and we were on our way to check out, when she discovered another pair that she liked the best of all. Whew! Then she decided that she wanted an "up-do" for her hair. So, we spent one evening to "practice" the "up-do." Here are some photos of Taylor and her handsome friend, Jakob.

Hey Mimi. Just wanted to welcome you to the great world of blogging. I haven't been doing it for too long. I started in October. You should come visit me sometime. I hope you have as much fun blogging as I've had. It's always great to meet new people, like your daughter. She's got a great blog. Did Taylor have a good time at the ball? She's a pretty girl.
