"O Bla Di, O Bla Dah, Life Goes On"

Most have heard by now that my marriage to Chris has been called off. I have no answers. There was no specific reason. I can only guess.

Life has moved on. I enjoyed a wonderful trip to Utah & Idaho for Steven's graduation from BYU-ID. I am so proud of him. He has an apartment in San Antonio now and starts his job at USAA on August 10th.

I was able to visit with many friends & family. We did a lot of sight seeing and just had a great time. Kept my mind off things for awhile.

I have had one interview with KISD to get my foot back in the door of employment. I am certain things will work out. They always do; not the way I usually have planned, but they do none the less.

Engagement

This has been a wonderful weekend in my life. The special man whom I have fallen in love with has proposed marriage and I have accepted. (I thought he never would:) I am so excited! We will be blending two terrific families. We will have nine children between us and fourteen grandchildren. Whew! I look forward to growing to love each and every one of them. I have had a great time getting to know a little bit about them so far. I am anticipating fun times ahead. We will have to rent a convention hall to get them all together, but I am excited for that to happen too.

We have chosen the San Antonio Temple to be sealed in and are planning on the date of August 8th. Seems we will be sharing this wedding date with Mindi & Jason, but that's ok. Big changes ahead for Taylor & I. We will be moving to Waco. Kind of scary after living in Killeen for twenty one years, but we will visit often. I can't wait for my new "master suite" to be ready to move in to.

The Lord has truly blessed me this year and I am grateful for his presence in my life and the answers to prayers. I know that Chris is the right guy for me and that we will have a happy life together. I love you very much, Chris.

Blessings of an Eternal Family

We were able to experience the wonderful blessings of an eternal family on April 18th. Vanessa was able to attend the temple for the first time. There were lots of family members and close friends that were able to come with us. It was so nice to be reminded of those sacred covenants and blessings that come from attending the temple.
